How it works

The in-game radio loops the bunker grid references and sometimes their PIN. Every digit is 5 beeps: a short one is a dot, a long one a dash.

While listening, the page looks for the game's tone around 988 Hz, learns the broadcast's rhythm by itself and drops beeps that fall off the rhythm (room noise). No audio is sent anywhere - it all runs in your browser.

The result is the grid column and row (XXX YYY) and a 4-digit PIN when the broadcast has one. The grid is matched against the 23 bunkers from the game files, so even with a mistake in your transcript the right one is usually found.

According to the game files, 3 bunkers are active at a time and the broadcast runs from 17:45 to 6:00 in-game time.
